Recreational kickboxing for fitness is a fantastic way to get into shape!

Kickboxing is a sport that will allow you to become "fighting fit". 

This is not cardio kickboxing. This is a real kickboxer's workout. You will have your hands wrapped, you will learn the punch and kick combinations using focus pads and thai pads, and with a partner, you will learn the drills to complete a kickboxing workout. We will work your abs and drive your cardio into high gear taking you where you never thought you could go! 

All the skills in the world are no good if you do not have cardio vascular fitness enabling you to execute your new skills, so cardio is a big part of our workout. In a typical class we do a cardio warmup followed by stretching then some work on technique and then we go into one of our many pad work drills with a partner where you will get an enjoyable but intense work out, while honing your fundamental skills. You will learn the correct stance, footwork and breathing techniques, along with all the fundamentals, in a friendly, team orientated atmosphere, where everyone assists each other to reach their goals. Your goal might be a new angle on fitness or to learn a new skill or to compete on our popular competitive circuit. Whatever your goal, we will get you there, with emphasis on respect, sportsmanship, discipline and FUN!!
