For those members who wish to train to compete in full contact competitive kickboxing tournaments the opportunities are many.

Team PEI Kickboxing, through it's affiliation with CASK, has trained athletes to compete at CASK events in NB, NS, Nfld and Ont. In fact, only one competitive CASK athlete in the last seven years did not get his start at Team PEI Kickboxing and his opportunity came at an Island Inferno Event! Team PEI Kickboxing, in association with Elite Champion Promotions, is the founder and producer of the Island Inferno Kickboxing Events which enable our PEI athletes to compete at home on the show that was voted and received the award , "Best in Canada" by CASK. All Team PEI competitive athletes will have an opportunity to earn a spot on Team PEI if you meet the following requirements:
1- Make your competitive goals known to your coaches.
2- Be registered with Team PEI and CASK and hold a current CASK passport.
3- Have a CASK Medical completed for the current year.
4- Be coachable and have a positive attitude.
5- Be consistent in training at the Team PEI club and consistent in helping your teammates prepare.
6- Be considered to be "ring ready" by the coaches.
7- Keep an extensive journal of training.
8- Participate in fundraising and seek sponsorship to help cover costs.
9- Be appreciative of the effort of coaches, teammates and club members, that help you, make competing possible.
10- Competetive athletes are expected to wear Team PEI colours to the ring.
All points will be explained in detail before tryouts.
At Team PEI Kickboxing, we will support you and help you reach your goals. All we ask in return is that you understand and appreciate the value of the opportunities you are given, train hard, respect the "team" effort from all club members and give back to the club and sport that gave you your shot.
The competitive athletes get the headlines and trophies but none of that is possible without the support of your club!
